Ballarat Country Vets is a 1 year old, currently 2 vet, practice based in Smythesdale near Ballarat. Smythesdale is a very friendly town with a strong sense of community.

We are a truly mixed animal practice, with a diverse customer base presenting an even more diverse array of pets, poultry, hobby farm everything and commercial livestock.

We feel we are an integral part of the town, and we continue to develop close relationships with members of our community.

We are family owned, and our attitude is very much geared towards enjoying what we do, and doing it as well as we can. Our workplace is flexible, fair and friendly, and even fun when it can be. Laughter is not uncommon.

Our team is capable, caring and supportive, and maintaining this positive culture is extremely important to us.

The clinic operates EzyVet software, and has digital radiography, ultrasounds, dental equipment and a Heska in house lab system. The equine clinic is based at an equine rehabilitation centre with chilled salt water spa and treadmill, solarium and extensive crush and stable amenities.

The positions are flexible, well paid ( relative to experience and employment conditions you seek), and we encourage and can assist with continuing education and the pursuit of any special interests.
